How to use essential oils

Essential oils can be used in perfumes, foodstuffs, disinfectants, as antibiotics in the agricultural sector, in soaps, in shampoo, and in a hundred other ways. There are wide- ranging medical benefits ascribed to specific oils – most commonly their antiseptic, antibacterial and antimicrobial qualities. Some are insect repellent, others support concentration, muscle relief, stress or panic reduction, relaxation or sleep.

Fragrance
A key feature of our fynbos essential oils is the range and variation of exquisite fragrances. These you need to experience yourself. Fragrances can be best enjoyed by heating in water over an oil burner or dispersing through a diffuser. A few drops in the bath, spritzing via a misting bottle, or sprinkling on one’s bed are other ways of enjoying both the fragrances and therapeutic qualities of individual oils. Some of our fynbos essential oils are very rare and not all of their qualities are fully understood.  We would love for you to share your individual experiences.
