A fynbos plant found in the mountains of the Western and
Eastern Cape. H. petiolare is grown exclusively for Cape Fynbos Oils on

Indication
Traditionally used to treat respiratory ailments and pain relief. The leaves are used to treat asthma, chest problems and high blood pressure. Kooigoed is also inhaled as a protective cleanser. Also used to relieve symptoms of both migraine and menopause, in treating menstrual pain, and as a calmative for irritability and restlessness. Alleviates coughs, colds and infections.
Add five drops into a bath, diffuser, humidifier or pillow to soothe headache and neck tension.
